1. Oversized clothes

Since when did wearing oversized clothing become cool? This look is an instant giveaway that you're immature and lack a sense of style. Always go in for clothes that fit a bit closer to your body, women love it.

2. Ignoring quality for cheap prices

Cheap clothing is often of low quality, hence why they get worn out easily. Which also means you'd have to buy it more frequently. Get into the habit of buying quality items that will stay in shape over a long period of time. They may be more expensive but, unlike the cheaper versions, you rarely have to go in for a replacement (depending on how well you keep it).

3. Wearing super tight clothes

There is a clear difference between well fitting and tight clothes. Well fitting clothes tend to align perfectly on your body, making you look masculine and also mature. Tight clothes, on the other hand, are just hideous. On top of that, its a womanly thing to do.

4. Wearing the same clothes as your friends

Dressing the same way as your friends when going out is something we've all done at some point. If you don't happen to be a dance crew or a sports team, I suggest you avoid this. Be creative, don't be scared to try a new style. If you lack ideas on what to wear, check out a few inspirations from our favorite style influencers.

5. Wearing slides and slip flops outdoors

They are undoubtedly very comfortable but, don't be fooled. These things are not meant for everyday use. There are so many alternatives on the market if its comfort you seek. As a rule of thumb, only wear them when indoors, at the beach or pool.
